Wine producer: Esporão. Esporão is one of the most respected houses in Portugal, capable of producing wonderful wines - from the most exclusive to the more mainstream. Esporão is an eclectic house that has made its mark in the Alentejo region and on Portuguese wines as a whole.
Wine producer: Soalheiro. Whenever the conversation focuses on Portuguese white wines, the main topic of conversation is the Vinho Verde region, where white wine is king, and the Alvarinho grape variety. Over the past 20 years, Soalheiro wines and Luis Cerdeira, who is one of the oldest producers of the Monção / Melgaço subregion, are renowned for their Alvarinho wines which are elegant with mineral notes.
Wine producer: Luís Pato. After more than 20 years, we can be sure that every year they make some of the greatest Portuguese wines. Luis Pato is constantly innovating and looking to take on new challenges. He is known everywhere as “Mr. Baga”, demonstrating his characteristics and likeness to one of the most well-known Portuguese native grape varieties. He has developed Baga in different types of soils and in vines with different ages.
Wine producer: Jorge Serôdio Borges It was no surprise that Jorge Serôdio, a man born in Douro with several generations of his family linked to the wine industry, decided to become a winemaker. He inherited the beautiful Quinta da Manoella where he produced Douro’s iconic Quinta da Manoella Old Vines. He has also used his impressive renovation skills to produce Quinta do Passadouro, Maritávora and Companhia das Quintas.
