Gabriel José García Márquez1 (Aracataca, 6 de março de 1927 — Cidade do México, 17 de abril de 2014) foi um escritor, jornalista, editor, ativista e político colombiano. Foi laureado com o Prêmio Nobel de Literatura de 1982 pelo conjunto de sua obra que, entre outros livros, inclui o aclamado Cem Anos de Solidão.
