Places we love
The whimsical and timeless design inside the newly renovated living room at @thecolonypalmbeach brought to life through the meticulous artistry of De Gournay is a feast of joy to our hearts. The scenic wallpaper “Return of the Pink Palace” created by @degournay got us so inspired that it just might set the tone for one of our upcoming weddings! There's nothing in the world quite like the holiday season in Europe. Cities in Europe light up with magnificently decorated squares and boulevards. The lights are to bring hope and optimism, which is more important than ever in these times of coronavirus. Christmas lights is only where the fun begins, there are wooden chalets in 13th century towns, snow capped cathedrals, seasonal cookies and cakes in display windows, and of course, all the hot mulled wine you can drink.
Today I throwback to the most wonderfully indulgent hotel I’ve had the pleasure of staying in. Located in the heart of one of the world’s most mesmerizing cities, the Royal Mansour Marrakech redefines luxury travel and takes exclusivity, privacy and indulgence to the next level. Gorgeously rich interiors and exceptional quality bed linens made us feel as though we were holidaying in a palace. I tried a traditional Hamman followed by a relaxing massage which was absolute heaven!
Located in a lovely neighborhood (on a quiet street between the busier Rue de Turenne and Boulevard Beaumarchais in Le Marais), Boot Café has become a new emblem in the city of light, and a Parisian hipsters dream come true. It's beautiful blue facade reads "Cordonnerie", a place where (leather) shoes were made or repaired. The name Boot Café suddenly seems so appropriate, right? If you're planning on visiting Paris soon, you might want to add this cute coffee shop to your check list.
Travel is one of our main inspiration source. There's no better way to expand a creative repertoire than exploring new places and soaking in the art, customs, colors, and natural surroundings. Of course, the past year has put travel plans for nearly all of us on hold - luckily this Pandemic hasn't taken away our memories and imagination. Today, mine is Venice. And you, where would you go if you were able to travel?
The Coronavirus pandemic has changed all of our worlds. What I missed the most? Hugging, kissing and traveling. This particular photo is is Lake Como, Italy. This region (Lombardia) in one of my favorites in my bella Itália. There are so many places I would like to meet but I find myself going over and over to Italy. La vita è un viaggio. Chi viaggia vive due volte ✨ Love⠀ Ivnna 🤍 @the_wedding_wonderland Lake Como wonderfully captured by @stepanvrzalaphoto
