LISIANTHUS: CENTER and PETAL PREPARATION. For the style/stigma, I used a very pale green piece of florist crepe for the pistil, 4cm tall, 2cm wide - cutting it (with vertical grain) almost to the bottom.  Then I twisted those two 'flaps', using a teeny bit of glue to secure the twisting.  I rounded the tips and glued them together, mimicking the double, (or 'bicarpellate' something in fancy plant talk) 'stigma thing' that lisianthus and its gentian cousins have.
