Canvas is a Washington DC-based coworking community for creatives, freelancers, and startups. Designed by Wingate Hughes Architects, the office is means to be an inspiring and collaborative work environment. At around 6,000 sqft, the space’s design is meant to combine attributes of an office, a coffee shop and a pub – with the goal of inspiring those that work within its walls.

Some of the space would have the glass enclosed office but some areas would be more open and communal (lower rent for communal tables, etc). Again, like the dark lighting, white walls, and wood tables. Also like that the tables are not bulky and have 'airy' legs. Could also be easier to make the communal tables moveable to the tenants can customize
