All over the world as glaciers melt and recede, archaeologists and hikers are finding artifacts and remains of humans and animals from hundreds or thousands of years ago. In summer 2014, in just one Norwegian county, a team of archaeologists found 400 Stone Age artifacts uncovered by glacial melt. Around 7,000 years ago the Earth was enjoying a warm climate. Now glaciers and patches of perennial ice have started to melt again, revealing ancient layers.
