I watched a couple of environment art tutorials this morning and challenged myself to try something new. I love sci fi city's and always admire environment art so thought I'd give it a go. I wanted.

Metropolis of Tomorrow

Sweet pictures of futuristic cities! We are, of course, heavily indebted to architect visionaries like Hugh Ferriss and his Metropolis of Tomorrow,.

I love this piece, because it clearly shows the different between the two areas of the city, with the Upper City being that distant light that you can never really reach once you've been sucked into the darkness of the Lower City. I used elements of this piece's design and colour scheme in my own work.
