Tycho Brahe 1546–1601 was an astronomer.He observed the motion of the planets and of the stars and other things in space and made observations of the movements. He knew that the validation of his observations would make many of the teachings of the catholics invalid. Tyco proved the teachings of the church were false and this caused many to turn away from the catholics and to look for their truth elsewhere. He was killed by the church because of these  contradictions to their teaching.
