Morocco’s climbing Goats are real phenomena! They climb the Aragan Trees because they like to eat the fruit - similar to an olive. Farmers follow the herds of goats as they move from tree to tree because the fruit of the tree has a nut inside, which the goats can’t digest, so they spit it up or excrete it and the farmers collect them. The nut contains 1-3 kernels - ground to make argan oil used in cooking and cosmetics.

The most incredible natural phenomena around the world. In Morocco, goats climb up argan trees in order to eat their fruit. The site is not uncommon to locals, but travelers are often shocked to see the bizarre phenomenon.
