A "getting to know you game" for a large group of people. This was a hit at our recent Relief Society Meeting.
Marker is attached to 8 strings, and the group has to write out a word by working together and only holding onto the last foot foot of each string.
Ice Breaker Activity Materials needed: DIY poster board to serve as a key and individual fun size M&M bags.
Might be a good way to start the year (especially if you have a lot of new students). I would allow students to pick some (3, maybe) that they are willing to have shared. Then you could use it as an ice breaker also ~ Nice prompts for back to school.
