I remember this. We used real potatoes. Potato head or orange grew their own appendages!

Potato Head from 1972 I used to love all those different hats and shoes, a purse for Mrs. Potato Head and moustache for Mr.

Potato Head - I played with this in the and always left it made up in the box - only to squirm when the potato sprouted.

Mr Potato head was around well before Toy Story made him famous again

mr. potato head This was before the crappy plastic and you had to use a REAL potato! Loved it.

transorm a real potato into a toy. In 1952 Mr. Potato Head became the first toy ever advertised on TV. I remember these. Potato Head is all plastic (still have our set)

You used a real potato in those days! I remember Mom telling me that one day, Brad's room really started to smell (more than usual--Ha!) and so she started looking around and she found a very ROTTEN Mr. Potato Head under his bed!

From 1952 to 1960 the toy was a collection of parts that would pin into real potatoes, and for the wild and crazy, sometimes yams! The original Mr Potato Head. (I left mine in the cabinet and it sprouted "eyes!

"SHRINKY DINKS", fun in the oven toys. All these great toys to learn with, and look what greed for money did them. God said to love your neighbor, not sue them all.

Another art project for the oven that I would spend hours working on. These can still be found and can be created freehand with blank shrinky paper sold at the craft store.

Shrinky Dinks - now this was fun.just turn on the light and watch the oven work it's magic as it shrunk your artwork into fun little charms!

Shrinky Dinks were so coll - my Mom even taught a special art project once at our school with them. How much did she rock?
