Love these shelves! These raw edge wood shelves were constructed from a gorgeous and very old piece of wood that had been sitting in the Long Island studio of shoji screen and Japanese-inspired furniture maker Mr. Hanafusa, of Miya Shoji. Very striking! Each wood shelf weighs 300 pounds, and is held together by 200 eight-inch metal pins pushed through the existing wall.
