1st post 5th grade camp meal for Jacob and Lucas - loading them up with some Friendly Fat, Colorful Carbs and Powerful Protein. Jacob gobbled it down including the sardines! Lucas said he wasn't so hungry, ate a bite of sardines (on his own), some pastured chicken and a bite of sauerkraut (with my nudging!), and put the rest in the fridge "for later". :)
REAL Lunch: #realfood #getreal Leftover pastured chicken, green beans and quinoa (cooked in chicken broth), mixed with Jack's salsa and avocado. Seasoned with pepper and Celtic salt - a favorite easy meal because you can mix in any vegetable or cheese and it is still delicious. No cheese/quinoa and it's paleo!
REAL Lunch: Pizza with Bob's Red Mill GF crust, tomato sauce, Applegate Farms salami, broccoli & Organic Valley cheese; mango, Bubbies sauerkraut, and a dark chocolate Sunbutter Cup
1st day of school lunch...pastured chicken, raw cheese, avocado & tomatoes from the garden on sprouted corn tortilla ~ side of local corn, cucumbers & some grapes - kids loved!
