I used to have the same dream repeat on me every night when I was around 12 years old. I would climb to the top of a mountain that had a sheer drop and overlooked endless grass lands with large pine trees. Evolution is a strange, crazy and beautiful thing when you think about where we have come from. It's even stranger to think that humans share 50% of their DNA with a banana. We all like to be beside the sea side. The sound of the waves, the sand under your feet and the salty fresh air. This little guy (octopus) is helping the woman breath a little easy with a helping tentacle as she has a bunged up nose. Sea air really is good for the health. The bracing climate by the sea is especially beneficial to the respiratory organs and the skin, but also improves circulation and strengthens the body’s defences.
Clearly, plants can communicate. But does that mean they can feel pain? It's a troubling scenario for salad lovers ... But imagine if they reacted like humans to a cut. Woodsmen would become butchers and we would think differently about how we interacted with our environment.
