Elbaite Tourmaline with Apatite

Elbaite: a sodium/lithium/aluminium boro-silicate, is a mineral species belonging to the tourmaline group, capped by sparkling, accenting Apatites.

BDS1101 Tourmaline Barra de Salinas, Minas Gerais, Brazil Cabinet, 10.7 x 1.1 x 1.0 cm This elbaite is bi-colored with a rich green zone at the top 1/3 and a beautiful light rose pink in the lower 2/3.
