It's SO important for leaders to have boundaries. Do you know how to turn off work-mode in your brain and life? Do you do it? People watch and follow your lead...meaning your actions not your words. If you send emails on weekends and evenings you make it clear to everyone that you don't respect your own boundaries around personal time or the personal time of others. That kills creativity. That kills relationships sustainability and business. SHOW the world how you respect yourself. Lead…

The key word here is EFFECTIVELY. Rules in business and life exist for a reason. We may not agree with them or find them to be kind or helpful but we should learn them. As we learn the rules we grow our business our mind our compassion. We gain understanding into the people and systems we interact with. We spend our time listening intently to truly hear what's happening for others. We gain much. Then as we break the rules we do it in SERVICE and with HUMILITY. We're creative and kind. This…

Good point @ahrynscott. This is a secret of leaders and something I watch for all the time. You could call it class grace or being worldly. No matter the name it's confidence. The man who stands in front of me and insists he's a well-respected person has my bullshit radar running on high alert. The man who sits in front of me and is clearly well respected by others without saying a word has my attention. Double tap if you know it's true

It's SO easy to find the faults in others. Usually what's making us most crazy about another are the traits we are uncomfortable about in ourselves. Do the inner work...get the emotional skills the patience the things you've been putting off. Get help from a mentor or coach and show up in the world the way you wish others would. Double tap if being your best version of you is part of your business plan.

Oh how I despise cowardice. From politicians and terrorists. And how amazed I always am at the resilience love and compassion that comes after horrible events. Happy am I that we don't have to have a problem to see displays of the better side of human nature. Even more reason to lead your business to change the world in positive powerful ways. (Thanks for the image @martinholsinger) Double tap if you're working to leave a positive mark.

You need peace to succeed. It may take more patience effort than you think you have. You're going to need to go get some new skills some specific mentors. but that's where success lies. Double tap if getting along is part of your business plan.
