School lunch: leftover roasted beets and slow cooker chicken (recipe from @100daysofrealfood), banana muffin from the freezer (I take it out in the morning for the lunch box and it's defrosted by the time they eat. Doesn't get easier than that!), hard boiled egg (always from @vitalfarms - pastured chickens make happy eggs!), pears and raspberries. Almost all organic. Happy Friday, everyone!
School lunch: leftover Annie's mac and cheese with broccoli, homemade carrot cake muffin, diced organic pears, snap peas and roasted beets. My daughter wanted the mac and cheese and said she didn't mind if it was room temp. I send in lots of things that aren't hot by the time they eat lunch. And they eat them happily. We shall see if this is the same.
