"Borrowed" from another teacher. My 9th-graders called them cell phone jail. They put their phones in during all tests and quizzes and when I decided we needed to be phone-free. I liked it because I wasn't responsible for their phones (unlike with the big shoe organizers some teachers have). —laurenr57
