Here is my latest integration of metal clay and wire work, a woven bracelet with Sleeping Beauty Turquoise. I made the setting first with the stone and than wove the bracelet to fit it. The wire is sterling with Swarovski crystals and a few glass seed beads thrown in there. --Lisa Barth

Hmm.  So I have to do some investigating, but I'm thinking they wove it in six seperate, split sections in the middle and then used the leather belt braid trick to interweave them.  Must find that trick again (WHY didn't I pin it the first time!??)

I have been fortunate to take classes on Right Angle Weave from Marcia DeCoster on three separate occasions. Whether you are new to Right Angle Weave or experienced, you will learn something new from Marcia every time. In fact, at one point during the first class I took with her, she told me I was doing "wrong angle weave". I did not have the "second row" stitches sorted out in my head. That taught me that doing a stitch the wrong way can teach you as much as the right way.
