Škoda “Tortoise”, 1923 - Retronaut
Skoda OA Vz. 27. This development of the Czechoslovakian PAII sacrificed the improved ballistics of the rounded curves for less expensive flat armor plates. It also included a turret. 15 were produced between 1925 and 1927. They saw some service during the violence caused by the Sudeten German Party in 1938, where they proved to be rugged and easy to maintain. Most were seized by the Germans when they annexed the Sudetenland, although three wound up in Romania.
