by ulrich lambert Stilt fishing is a typical fishing technique only seen in Sri Lanka. The fishermen sit on a cross bar called a petta tied to a vertical pole planted into the coral reef. This long exposure shot shows how unstable their position is.
Wolverines need snow and can even smell food beneath 20 feet of snow. Females dig their dens in snow. The litter of two to three cubs requires a warm, safe den in about of snow that will last well into the spring.
