April 8th: completed survey of all the nesting pairs between Riverton, NJ, to the northeastern tip of Burlington Island, 18.6 miles or 29.9 kilometers. Eight pairs, or sixteen ospreys are present. Next map will document their offspring, which will be by the end of May. On this map, the red lettering with white borders indicates the location of those who returned this season. The red lettering with black borders is where nesting pairs inhabited the range markers in the past, but not in 2017.
