Through my work and far from ubiquitous road trip stories I wanted to create to feed a global imagery very abstract and far from all these concerns almost like a series of still lives or old paintings. I concentrate on textures colors and shapes and have numerous elements that are coming back from one state to another. Whether it is colors angles or subjects I try to weave a coherent visual lexicon of my United States. Trying to gather the similarities and differences between states I am in…

I always have forgiven you because I always used logic. It's how my heart is protected. Might be a good way for you in the future to cope.

Sometimes on the way to your destination you get lost and find a better place than desired destination. Same thing happened on my last ride to Bhatghar-Varandha. 3 bullets 3 riders and with only one goal to get lost in wilderness. After visiting Necklace Point we started towards Varandha Ghat and in between I came across a beautiful lush green mountain and in a friction of second I was able to locate a small trail towards it. And without a second thought started following it. Fellow…

It comes packaged with an entire set of beliefs about God, heaven and hell, salvation, and so on. But dealing with the practicalities of life occupies everyone's time. The soul, we assume, can wait until we die, and that's a time almost everyone prefers not to think about at all.In order for the soul to be relevant here and now, it would have to be of some practical use. Shopping in The Grand Bazaar in Istanbul which is the largest covered mall in the world is a unique experience. With approximately 6000 shops in 60 alleyways it is almost impossible not to get lost. Prepare to haggle and probably be cheated. This mall was planned in the 15th Century!

Ystrad Einion Copper Mine. By 1901, the mine had closed its pit for the last time. Almost immediately, nature leapt in to reclaim the hillside; cracking through stone and slowly wrapping the mine in its deathly embrace. Visited in 2015, Ystrad is now lost behind tall, looming trees and an explosion of bracken. Yet signs of its previous existence still remain. Those with the nerve to venture underground will find a beautifully rusted old wheel in one of its chambers – a reminder of all the…

gal-meets-glam-white-ruffles29 - Honestly, the best way to see the city is to just get lost. You never know which street or alleyway will lead up to a view like this. We kept turning down paths and almost every time, ended up finding something incredible. Like the door below for example, it blew my mind that it looks like it just leads to the endless blues of the Agean Sea!

This is a sweet little bakery perfect for an afternoon pick-me-up. Portuguese pastries are THE BEST as far as I’m concerned, and I always eat a scary amount of pasteis de nata when I’m there. You’ll find them at almost any bakery, but I loved this one from Tartine (where you can also grab some free WiFi!)

“I watch Stewart. He has the most interesting face. It is beautiful, young, almost childlike, and yet with a power and authority in his features. In another time he would have been a young warrior, a Lost Prince exiled from his kingdom. But he's from this time, this place, so he's just some "at risk" kid who can't find a place for himself in the straight world.”

Photo @jodymacdonaldphoto // The Imraguen fishermen that live within Banc D'Arguin Parc in #Mauritania have maintained age-old lifestyles based almost exclusively on harvesting migratory fish populations using old traditional sailboats like the one pictured here. They still use techniques unchanged since first recorded by 15th century Portuguese explorers. Amazing! When I spend time with unique cultures and people like the Imraguen I learn a lot about the value of living simply. A lesson…
