DIY Atomic Sunburst Clock using a modern clock. First take the clock backing off, then measure accurately on the sides to drill holes wear the time placement will be. Metal rods with different gauges from the hardware store cut to different lengths give them a starburst effect. Wooden craft store balls- different sizes and painted silver, then inserted and glued to the ends. On my clock I wanted an all chrome look so I cut corrugated metal for the face. Fun and inexpensive for a retro look!
Buy plates from Dollar Store, write things like, Night Before Christmas, wedding vows for a gift. they used a Porcelain 150 Pen which is permanent and safe once baked for 30 mins in a conventional oven. --I like this idea!
