So clever - Coffee & Cigarettes poster remake by Viktor Hertz. "The clean, minimal design is really striking and the coffee mug made out of the negative space is a brilliant idea. i love minimal design

I really like this design because of the color and how it all ties in together. It has what's its about and if you couldnt read it you could guess it was about rain. I like the upside down umbrella and the cartoonish raindrops. It has a real sense to it as well as a cartoonish sense as well.

This is a poster for the musical singing in the rain. The main poster colour scheme is a range of blues. when we think of blue we think of cold as it is a cold colour and i think this works well for the singing in the rain poster.

I like how the wine being poured turns into a saxophone. Very clever way to symbolize jazz.

I love the combination of the wine and the saxophone in this poster. This is a great example of a minimalist design with a double meaning. The saxophone represents the "Jazz & Blues" and the Pouring wine represents the winery where the even is being held.

Peter and the Wolf by Phoebe Morris Illustration

This book cover shows excellent figure ground/negative space. The contours formed by the position of the fox serve as the shape of a boy, I'm assuming "Peter." This empty space also creates a wonderful focal point for the book title to nestle into.
