Students create a snowman with a fun (and Tall) hat. Day Students use markers to draw their snowman. Day use bright color paint to fill in the four equal squares of the background. Day Students dip their fingers in white paint to add the snow.
Drawings of the same snowmen face or part of the face from different points of view: front, side, above, from underneath, upside down etc. Colored with oil pastels. Outline everything with black oil pastel.
It's a nice colored pencil/ shading/ teaching value lesson. Medium blue construction paper is used for background, and color is added with a darker shade of blue for the shadow side and white for the lit side.
