December 30, 2015: This book is so interesting and so full of symbolism and good vocabulary. There was some disconcerting content regarding a lack of actual truth, but other than that I thought it was a great book.

Flora and Ulysses: The Illuminated Adventures: Kate DiCamillo. Cute novel with some graphic pages about a girl who finds a squirrel who can type. I read it thinking I may do a read-aloud with my students.
