A handful of ingredients and minimal preparation. This is my easy recipe for Croatian oblatne - or chocolate wafer cake as some would call it.

This recipe for crispy vanilla wafer cookies (Polish wafle) can be made on a special wafer iron or baked on a conventional waffle iron.

Crispy wafer sheets filled with chocolate hazelnut filling. This is incredibly easy to construct, no baking required and will last in a sealed container in the fridge for about a week. Here in Croatia we often use Oblatne (Amazon, Balkan Buy) - Wafer Sheets to make sweets.
