Park Hill skybridges via Flickr - Built 1957-1961 and listed in 1998, with Grade II status, Park Hill Flats with their 'streets in the sky' are described as a 'Modernist icon'. Brutalist architecture they are Desliked by some. Park Hill is on the site of part of Sheffield Manor's 16th century, 2,500 acre deer park. This became dotted with farms and mineral works in the 18th century, followed by notorious 19th century slums which were cleared to erect PH
