Ballet today

Renversé – to upset, a movement in which the dancer brings an extended leg from the front to the side, then upsets/disrupts his or her balance by bringing the leg into attitude derriere while tilting the upper body in the opposite direction.

Movement - Male dancer with flour

What happens when you take an Australian dancer, put him in front of the lens of Sean Higgins, and add a bit of dirt? A photo series starring Brodie Chesher that explodes with a copious amount of energy.

My favorite is the contrast between a strong isolation or jump and the softness of the hands or face, or in this case- the fabric!

This photograph has a wonderfully strange type of movement. A lot of images of dancers seem still and posed, and they lack any movement at all. but in this image, I can see her movement come to life. in this, I see it in reverse.

Alla Osipenko, John Markovsky

ex-stream counter balance. this is a counter balance at its finest. two people working together using body weight and strength to create a perfect piece (pose).
