HMAS Australia - whilst flagship of the 2nd Battlecruiser Squadron (comprising the 3 12 in 'Indefatigable' class battlecruisers) in April 1916 she collided with sister New Zealand in thick fog, and due to damage missed the Battle of Jutland the following month: Indefatigable was the first ship sunk, and New Zealand fired more main armament rounds than any capital ship on either side (whilst being hit only once).
