Layers of a 1500-1550's dress by TzarinaRegina "1) model, 2) add a shift with long puffy sleeves, 3) add corset, 4) add verdingal (the a-line hoop skirt), on top of that tie the bum roll, 5) over the verdingal and bum roll add the forepart skirt, 6) Add the Gown. Pull the excess of the shift sleeve through holes in the dress sleeve to make the small white puffs around the wrist. I believe the fur part of the sleeve is attached separately, buttoned or tied at the top to the sleeve."
