Shaka kaSenzangakhona (c. 1787 – c. 22 September 1828) was a Zulu Chief who conquered many other African tribes. He is featured in Deadliest Warrior: Legends as a member of the Guerilla class. He lost to William Wallace on the show. Shaka was the illegitimate son of a Zulu chief. Shaka’s mother was exiled to hide the fact of his birth. Joining the Mthethwa army, he proved a fierce warrior and immediately proceeded to change warfare as the Zulus knew it. Shaka disliked the flimsy throwing…

Description ..heh, o'boy.. this was done in 1990, for my final art option in High school. This was on illustration board and medium used was soft pastel and conte. Time spent was nine days...i still had classes.(damn highschool).. Anyway we had three options and I chose "Legends". I used numerous body building reference pics and a crappy freeze frame of the actor Henry Cele's face...as he played Shaka in the Teledrama.
