We performed a tea ceremony with our close family and friends before the main wedding ceremony. My grandmother painted calligraphy just for the occasion and it was very special to have that part of her there when she was unable to travel from China for the wedding. We spent maybe a bit more than we should have on bourbon . . . but it is Kentucky after all.
