Break out your colored pencils and try out this fractured heart artwork! I’m focusing on warm and cool colors within an analogous color scheme, but this lesson can be adapted for whatever color theory concepts fit your classroom. I’m using this as a distance learning choice as well as an extension activity for my early finishers. Not into hearts? Have your students explore cubism and use a simple guitar shape instead. This could also be done with organic vs. geometric shapes.
