Arisen by a contemporary interpretation of the Preguiceiro bench, this urban furniture preserves the uniqueness and characteristics of the old Preguiceiro bench through a contemporary language. Its contrast was explored by a dichotomy that is expressed in the use of two different materials. They give the bench structure and supporting a light system in its bottom zone. All these characteristics make possible to the user a free use of Preguiceiro and an active space around it.
ABACUS. Such as the name indicates, the project was inspired on the old instrument of calculating, the abacus. Like the calculation instrument, it can also be manipulated by the user, so it can have the places and the spaces desired. Its handling easy is performed through a mechanical system of rails with bearings. They enable an adoption of diverse forms, creating a dynamical and interactivity relationship between user, object and space.
The object was developed on the conceptual principle of manipulation and transformation raw materials industry for the consumer goods production. At the beginning of compositional process, the image of matter was metamorphosed. The volume and its handling, until be a finished product were transposed to the project. Composed by three elements, the object is distributed over various plans and alignments that acquire new relationships with the space.
The Offseat is established by a versatility that allows transform him according the wishes and needs of the space. Conceived by independent elements, the combination of each unit constitutes the Offseat element, disposed in an own language. The easy multiplication and aggregation of elements determine a unique and dynamic urban furniture piece. In his compositional process, allows its mutation into space on various combinations and ways of use.
The image of Interdito's wine on its red and white versions seeks to explore all graphic bottle elements for its identity construction. Through this concept its materialization was based on a geometric composition where label, back label and wrapper are appropriated, leading to enjoy all senses during Interdito consumption.
Boavista Lamp appears as a result of a search for the equilibrium between it's fluidity shape and its lightness as a design piece. Its shape variation allows an unique light effect. With the presupposition of a reinterpretation of the illumination object, the Boavista Lamp, by the strong presence and dynamism stands out as an object of unique design with a personality of an icon.
