SMC’s Dimitri Hettinga sells a remake of the Super Cub in Europe for a living. But this machine, nicknamed ‘Salt Shaker’, is no city runabout. It’s packing a heavily breathed-upon 150cc Yinxiang motor—measuring 22 hp at the rear wheel—plus racing wheels and tires, and a bespoke frame.

Okay, so this is THE coolest Honda Cub/Passport I have ever seen. Clearly has a Lifan engine in it, but the bike is awesome. I like how it has no front brake and only a disc brake - which seems to be operated by the front master cylinder on the handlebars. I would want to forgo the left side foot shifter for a hand suicide shifter. This would eliminate the need for any foot controls.
