The focal point is looking down the barrel of the gun which leads you looking at the boy’s angry face. The younger child seems to be trying to stop the boy from shooting. From the angle Diane has taken the photo from it looks like the boys is pointing the gun towards her. There isn’t a strong contrast in the photograph, there are more greys and blacks and the whites aren't as strong as what they could be. Diane demonstrates shallow depth of field as the gun isn’t in focus and the background…
