Futura – Originally designed in the 1920s and '30s, these unique faces were characterized by bold outline, streamlined forms, and a sense of stylized geometry. They feature a forceful, yet elegant look. Although most commonly known for its influence on architecture, advertising, interior design and fashion, Art Deco cast its spell of sleek modernity over typography with equal abandon.

Wilhelm Wagenfeld lamp designed this lamp in a Bauhaus workshop and it is still produced by Tecnolumen. It is also called the Bauhaus lamp.

Wassily Kandinsky, "Dance Curves: On the Dances of Palucca" (1926) Dancer and choreographer Gret Palucca (1902-1993) was a former student of Mary Wigman, the leading figure in German Expressionist dance. In 1925, Palucca opened her own dance studio in Dresden and developed close contacts with various Bauhaus instructors, many of whom greatly admired her dance style.
