Lady Anne Neville, Queen Consort of Richard III (1456-1485). The young widow was an English noblewoman, the daughter of Richard Neville, 16th Earl of Warwick. She became Princess of Wales as the wife of Edward of Westminster. Her only son with Richard III died young and she herself died at the age of 28. She is the last Plantagenet queen.
Lady Anne Neville became Princess of Wales after marrying Edward of Westminster, and then Queen after marrying King Richard III. As a member of the powerful House of Neville, she was caught up in the Wars of the Roses fought between the House of York and House of Lancaster for the English crown. Her father Warwick betrothed her as a girl to Edward, Prince of Wales to seal an alliance to the House of Lancaster and continue the civil war between the two houses.

Lady Anne Neville (11 June 1456 – 16 March 1485) was Princess of Wales as the wife of Edward of Westminster and Queen of England as the consort of King Richard III. She held the latter title for less than two years, from 26 June 1483 until her death in March 1485. She had just one son, Edward, whom she outlived.
