Red earthenware, stamped with a design of the Royal Arms (three lions rampant guardant) inlaid with white slip. Originally designed for the fireplace in the prince's chamber, Palace of Westminster but this example was also laid in the floor of the House of Commons. England, Minton & Co, designed by Pugin, 1847, made 1850.. Museum Number C.150-1982.
