Maruchan Food Packaging - student concept by Kota Kobayashi. (I personally don't know how I feel about this, since it messes with the nostalgia of instant ramen. Which goes to show how advertising can affect your loyalty to a product.
Design firm mousegraphics refreshed Hatziyiannakis' corporate identity and designed the packaging for a brand new product, the "pebbles" (round candy with a core of juicy fruit or nuts and bitter chocolate covered with a thin sugar coating).
I really like the retro, gritty look to the design on these bottles. I also like that there is a slight tilt to the text, this helps break up the design in a good way and seems to help draw in the eyes and highten the 'wow' impact of the product.
Marks & Spencer Canned seafood by Sarah Hingston. Uses images effectively. Basic and easily read type. Colors are distinct and make identifying products quick. As a group they coordinate and contrast each other nicely.
